Nestled between the historic towns of Kapaa and Wailua and the nearby Wailua River State Park, guests have a dazzling assortment of activities to choose from, including exploring their wild side while hiking to Opaeka Falls or the Sleeping Giant of Nounou Mountain, surfing or whale watching on the open Pacific, picking from a handful of world-class golf courses, or walk to the many local and eclectic eateries and shopping options. Sip and aromatic glass of local rum, and pick up a unique piece of hand-crafted jewelry or art from the island’s boutiques and galleries. And don’t forget to scan the reef at Fuji Beach for the rare Monk Seal or bike to family-friendly Lydgate Beach Park.
The Kauai Kailani Condos each boast their own creative interior, tastefully planned for the guest’s comfort and convenience. This second-floor condo is perfect for six people or less. Don't worry about stairs there is an elevator up to the second floor! You are renting one 3br condo which has 2 entrances. The main side has 2 bedrooms with full kitchen and the other a large bedroom & bathroom including a microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, sink and coffee maker, closet & shelving + TV & shared WiFi. Sleep soundly in the king-size primary bed, as well as the 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. The side with it's own private entrance (but still connected) has a nice king size bed and en-suite bathroom. Have breakfast while taking in the coastal breezes and stunning ocean view from the balcony. Enjoy work-friendly Wi-Fi and Cable TV, a full bathroom with all the fixings, a fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and fit to cook for the whole Ohana— and BBQ at the common area and rec room. A golden sand beach for swimming is a short stroll away, as well as the ocean-front swimming pool, complete with plenty of lounges for sun bathing and umbrella-covered picnicking areas.
Just a coconut’s throw from the condo is the famous Waipouli Beach Resort where you can sip a local-concoction at the Oasis Bar. Downtown Wailua is also around the corner, offering a handful of cool cafes, grocery stores, and other amenities including Starbucks, Health Food Store and Safeway.
Note that this vacation rental does not have A/C. Kauai's lovely trade winds, mild temperatures and eco-conscious philosophy make A/C uncommon here. But ceiling fans, open windows, and breezes right off the ocean keep the condo cool and comfortable.
