Kamahana is a great place to pick for Princeville Kauai condo rentals. There are several sizes and shapes of condos to choose from. If you can find a two story condo and rent both the A and B sides you can fit a pretty large group for family vacations or multiple couples.
If you don’t need that much space, there are studio and 2br options here at Kamahana as well. Some of the features include an incredible location near the bluff and on the Makai course. Some of the condos have ocean views but all are blessed with good square footage, a fun and funky 70’s tropical ski lodge exterior and great year round residents. This makes Kamahana feel more like a community than a hotel or a place where there are mostly vacation rentals.
Many of the Kamahana condos have been upgraded so don’t let the 70’s exteriors or funky signage scare you. One of the things guests love most is that in the winter the albatross love to call this place home. Here they are hanging out in front of the condos. If you see them here please remember not to get too close.
Kamahana condos have a great yard spaces for the kids to play. The pool, cabana and BBQ area is also a nice feature when you don’t want to hit the beach. Here is a 3D model of one of the upstairs 2br condos.
Sea Lodge beach is also just a few minutes walk down the street. So if you require a sandy beach as part of your “must haves” for vacation rentals in Kauai, HI, check out Kamahana or Sea Lodge. The path can be muddy and takes about 10 mins to get from the top to the sand but when you make it you are rewarded with one of the most private and beautiful settings on Kauai. Shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone!! ;). We locals love to frequent Sea Lodge beach to collect shells (or a tan) and wade with the turtles in the shallow and calm waters. Sea Lodge beach is actually the very end of the famous Anini reef, so the waves break a few hundred yards off shore and slowly roll in over the reef. Bring water shoes so you don’t cut your feet!
Condos To Choose
There are about 30 condos here at Kamahana. 10 of them front the Makai course. It’s a smaller collection of condos and prices are usually very fair. We also love the location because it’s close to the Princeville Path for Jogging / Walking and not too far from the community center if you are looking to get a morning Yoga session in, Prince Albert Park, Shopping and the Library.
