Kauai Mini Golf & Botanical Gardens is located at Anaina Hou Community Park. It’s a fun place for the whole family. If you are single, it’s a great place to mingle or explore with friends. Kauai Mini Golf is a fun way to enjoy a date or get to know your kids better. The 18-hole miniature golf course has obstacles that challenge both the avid golfer and the beginning golfer to putt with a purpose. They are open from 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm. Do you need fresh fruits and veggies for the week? Visit their weekly farmer’s market on Saturdays from 9am to 1 pm or on Mondays from 2pm until night falls. You can expect Kauai homegrown produce, food, and crafts.
The Wai Koa Loop Trail offers five miles of the largest mahogany forest in North America. It takes 4 hours total to walk the trail. Alternatively, rent a bike at the Anaina Hou. But before you can walk or ride a bike, you will need to fill out a trail waiver form, which you can find here on their website: anainahou.org
There is so much fun stuff to do for the keiki (kids). Besides the Kauai miniature golf course, they offer kids ages from 6-18 a skate club. The Anaina Hou Skate Club is free to join and is often looking for community help. If you would like to help by coaching or making a donation, call Uncle Lee at (808) 828-2118. The skate club practices on Sundays at 4pm.
