Is it Valentine’s day? Well, you just might think so as you and your family tour the little gem known as the Princeville Botanical Gardens. This is a family owned (and grown) operation with fruit trees, beehives, exotic flowers, organic cacao trees, and a stunning mountain backdrop. Tour guides will enrich your experience by teaching you about their food plants, Hawaiian flora, sacred flowers, and tropical medicinals. Treats on the tour include samples of seasonal fruits, honey, chocolate, and raw cacao.

Princeville Botanical Garden in Kauai has tours that run Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30am and 2pm as well as Friday at 9:30, check-in is half an hour prior. Kiddos 6 and under are free.
