Even though it’s not recommended to swim, you may want to play in the sand or get your tan on. It’s one of those beaches where you pack a box lunch, some towels, suntan lotion, and a body or surfboard. Many come here to chill and watch the professional surfers get in on a few waves. Professional photographers like to snap photos of the waves and surfers, so be ready to say: “Chewhoo” (Hawaiian slang when excited). This spot is perfect for those surfers who came to hike near Ke’e Beach, but suddenly got an itch to surf.
